As Promised, My Updated Collection

So, the ones lined up on the floor in the back and the random cluster in the front are all my doubles. There is no Very Rare Snake Oiler in the picture because it got lost in moving, but I ordered another on Amazon a few minutes ago. Common Raj is also not in the picture because I brought him and a normal hub to college with me and didn't bring him home for spring break. I also have 2 more normal hubs, a Speed Racer hub, and a dream state hub not pictured. Hope you enjoy!!

100th Post and Collection Complete!

Hi Everyone! This happened a while ago, but I never had the chance to post. Happy 100 posts!! And I certainly timed this just right because we have something very important to celebrate!

:) I'm really happy. I'm at college right now though, and all of my Funkeys are actually in storage right now because I'm moving... But once they're out I will certainly take a picture!

Just got Rare Racer X, Very Rare Cannonball Taylor, Rare Singe/Kali, Very Rare Bones, Rare Vroom, and Very Rare Lotus. The only ones still in the mail are Very Rare Boggle, Rare Snake Oiler, and Very Rare Snake Oiler. Yay!

Only 2 More Funkeys Left!

Over the course of the last week and a half, I thought I would do something nice for myself this Christmas and buy myself ALL the Funkeys I still didn't have. So far, the hunt has been fantastic. Met some very nice sellers on eBay and Amazon. My grand total so far is $139.32.... I have a problem. Don't tell anyone. Shhh. (It's actually not that bad; the average is $5.35 per Fukney since I bought 26 of them)

What I've noticed is that people who are on eBay or Amazon who are trying to sell Funkeys from the Speed Racer series do a very poor job with acknowledging the difference between the different rarities. So if you are Funkey hunting, but wary of that. Here is a checklist of what I have now. Purple means I have it, Green means in transit, Light Purple means it is impossible to get, and White means I still don't have it. If you are interested in selling/trading with me, let me know. 7 Months Later...

Okay so I just was trying to play Funkeys on my virtual Windows XP machine and it wasn't working. Turns out, when I got my external hard drive I moved all the files that my virtual machine needs to run over to it. So I had to open it up and locate all the files just to make it run. Then, since everything was moved I had to reinstall the operating system. *Sigh* And to make things even better, when I went to reinstall Funkeys on the Windows XP machine, it installed fine, but I couldn't figure out how I transferred my data over from my old saves. So now I have to start the game over or figure out how I did it last time... The things I do for Funkeys...

They just made a new Skylander named Sprocket. THEY STOLE IT FROM FUNKEYS!
I no longer have any respect for the creators of Skylanders. That is all. :) Have a nice day everyone!

Felt I Needed to Post

Well, it's been almost 5 months since I last posted, so I felt it was due. Not much going on with Funkeys. I just looked each figure I still need up on Google Shopping and most of them were nowhere to be found. :( It's going to be hard if I ever mean to finish my collection... The ones they do have range from 3 to 40 dollars... Don't know what to think. All I can hope is that Mattel is concocting up something good to compete with Skylanders. It's not that hard to do, the technology is simple and has been in place in other devices for years... Hopefully someone there is smart enough to make this investment.

Okay. So I was Googling... and I typed in 'funkey obsession' and I only had one link... The rest were from obsessedfunkey.blogspot.com. No. That's bad. :'( Obsessed Funkey, you killed me inside.

Anyway, Funkeys are like $5.00 and under now with free shipping! So guess what! That means I'm buying more :) However, my mom won't let me buy them until eBay clears up an unresolved issue of me not getting my Skylanders Volcanic Vault on time......

Soooo This is what I got for Christmas:

Let me just say that although this game is pretty epic, Funkeys will always reign above it. :) It's a cool game with collectable characters to play with both in real life and in-game. Also, it is unlike Funkeys in that if you do something to your character (ie: Level-up, put on a hat) it will save to that character. In other words if you have a level 10 Whirlwind with a party hat on and you take that Skylander to your friend's house it will still have those attributes. This also works system-to-system so you can play on whatever you like! If you want to add me online my name is PortalMaster #163853. Make sure there is no space between portal and master and there is a space between master and the # sign ans no space after the # sign.

I do have a few questions though:

1) How do you use your game console Portal of Power on your PC? I followed the instructions for the online game to install, it said it installed, but won't work.

2) Can you register a Skylander toy on more than one account? Try it. This is my Trigger Happy online code: 4SDHX-NXWFG. See if it works for you. If it does, tell me. And you get a free Skylander online too :)

I'm Weird

Why? Because ever since I got U.B. Funkeys up and running I haven't played it. I did purchase the unlimited Dot Familiar, however. Then I got some new keystones.. Then I stopped. Probably because I've been studying for midterms and whatnot... I just finished my last one today. I got a 95 in Ocean County College Biotechnology, an 86 in US History I, and an rediculous 79 on Elementary Function Analysis/Trigonometry!!!! Math is my favorite subject! How did that happen??? I got the best grade on the hardest class and the worst grade on the easiest.... Like I said... I'm weird.

Now let's talk about some random stuff. Anyone like Pokemon? I was Pikachu for Halloween :) And I got a GameBoy emulator on my PC so that I can play the games on my laptop :P Yaayyy!

I really wanna make some sort of Dress-Up game with Flash but I'm waayyyy too lazy. I tried to make one last year and I got as far as the hair and skin color and gaave up cuase it was taking so long. But I want to study Computer Science in college and Video Game Design and Development so I better get used to time-consuming computer-staring.

I'm kinda in a coloring mood... Maybe I'll make some more coloring pages so I can color them. Or maybe I should draw Anthony's Fan Fiction.... Eh. I dunno...

OH YEAH! And those Skylander things!! Cool right? I just wish they were Funkeys instead!! Remember when I had a nervous breakdown over FAMPS? Not gonna happen this time... I actually like these Skylander toys. But Funkeys are still better, of course :D

One more thing... Did you notice that picture next to the site address (Otherwise know as favicon)??? AWESoME, RIGHT???

Give Me Funkeys Or Give Me Death

So you might've heard me complain about having Windows 7 Home Premium in a previous post and how it won't run Funkeys... Well, I spent a week or two trying to figure out how I could possibley play. Solution: found! :D

At first I tried to play XP mode on Windows 7 which didn't work because it is only available on Windows 7 Professional or Ultimate, not Home Premium. So I decided to find an ISO for Windows Ultimate and install a virtual machine to run it on. I did, and I spent a whole day downloading Windows 7 Eternity (The hacked Ultimate) and installing it. Turns out you can't download XP mode unless your Ultimate it legit. SO! Then I decided, why not make a virtual machine for XP Professional? So I made a Windows XP Black Edition (Hacked Professional) using the same process and tried to install Funkeys. An error message comes up!! So I Google the error message and solve THAT problem. Now I can play Funkeys!!! Unfortunately, all my data is deleted upon uninstalling/reinstalling. But wanna know what I did? Before I uninstalled I save every file to a flashdrive so I could copy my data to the folders once it was up and running on my new laptop. YAY!! So now I'm playing Funkeys like I never left!!! :) Add me I'm DANTEANDFFM

Windows 7

Okay. I just got a new laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium. I can't run Funkeys. Did anyone download the hub patch for Windows 7 before the site was taken down?? I need it!!!

I do have other options. Such as buying Windows 7 Professional or Windows 7 Ultimate, but they cost $90+ dollars. Then I'd have to download the Windows XP emulator to run Funkeys. So I'd REALLY appreciate it if anyone had the patch or config.rdf file or ANY other suggestions to let me play Funkeys!!!
